About CJ Livestock
Our Farm
CJ Livestock is located in Carthage, North Carolina on 19 acres of mixed pasture and hay fields. What started as a small family operation has grown into a working farm that raises heritage-breed hogs for premium pork, produces high-quality hay, and supports other local farms through custom baling, litter spreading, and pasture management services.
As a farrow-to-finish operation, we raise our pigs from birth all the way to market. That means we’re hands-on at every stage — nutrition, health, and humane handling — so the pork we sell is something we’re proud to put on our own table. Our animals have room to move, clean feed, and the kind of daily care that shows up in both their wellbeing and the quality of the meat.
We also offer seasonal farm products like chicken, eggs, and honey, keeping everything as close to the land — and as true to our values — as possible.
Our History
While CJ Livestock is officially a first-generation farm, the knowledge behind it runs deep — five generations deep. Farming has always been in our bloodline, passed down through grandparents, uncles, and mentors who worked the land long before we did.
After serving in the US Army, Corey brought those same values — discipline, integrity, and precision — into building the farm from the ground up. Together with Jenna, he’s built a business that’s as much about stewardship and community as it is about production.
Today, CJ Livestock provides quality pork, hay, and farm services for families and farmers across Moore County, NC, and surrounding areas.
The Land and the Future
Our farm continues to grow, but always with purpose. Every season brings new lessons, new challenges, and new opportunities to do things a little better.
Whether it’s raising the next litter of heritage pigs, helping a young farmer get started, or baling hay for a neighbor down the road, CJ Livestock is built on the belief that honest work and strong roots will always pay off — in good food, healthy soil, and lasting relationships.
